Objectives:

Provide strong leadership to the service team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and ensure timely completion of tasks and adherence to quality standards.

Utilize comprehensive knowledge of diesel engines, systems, and components to diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles effectively. Offer guidance and troubleshooting complex issues and implementing best practices.

Ensure exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally. Collaborate with the customer service team to uphold high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Implement measures to streamline workflow, reduce downtime, and maximize resource utilization.

Uphold safety standards and regulatory compliance in all service operations.

Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in diesel technicians. Recommend and implement initiatives for continuous improvement to enhance service quality and customer experience.

Performs additional duties as assigned.

Competencies:

Proven experience in a leadership role within the diesel industry, with a strong track record of success in managing service operations and driving business growth.

Extensive knowledge of diesel engines, systems, and components, coupled with excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.

Exceptional leadership abilities, with a demonstrated ability to inspire, motivate, and develop a high-performing team.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders at all levels.

Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.

Proficiency in computerized diagnostic tools and software systems used in diesel technician operations.

Commitment to safety, quality, and customer service excellence.

Education and Experience:

Minimum 10 years of diesel repair experience required

Current State Driver’s License & Clean Driving Record required

Relevant Master Certifications and licenses in diesel mechanics or related fields.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to spend prolonged periods of time standing or walking

Ability to work in enclosed environments exposed to excessive noise, automotive shop environment, and cold or heat

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
